PROCESS DESCRIPTION
Inverted books on library shelves cast in concrete. In the manufacturing process known as casting, a liquid substance is often poured into a mold that has a hollow chamber in the desired shape before being left to solidify. A casting, which is the term for the solidified component, is discharged or split out of the mold to finish the procedure. Metals and other types of cold-setting materials, such as epoxy, concrete and plaster, are frequently used as casting materials. .
